A lot is currently going on in Europe, with ESC tracking three storms at the same time, and having issued warnings for a large part of northern Europe. Please note that the strongest winds are always to be expected on mountains, at the coasts and in open areas. The storm to the west of Iceland is expected to lose its intensity, however the one to the south wil continue to move through Europe. See below for the ESC Overview!
Montag, 21.12. – Heute Nachmittag zieht der Regen nach Osten ab und nachfolgend kann es auch etwas aufklaren. Am Abend werden erneut Wolken aufziehen, und in der Nacht ist dann mit neuem Regen zu rechnen. Die Temperaturen werden heute noch höchstwerde von bis zu 12°C erreichen. Der Wind ist heute meist leicht, am Abend zum Teil auch mäßig und kommt aus Südwesten. Am Abend kann es STÜRMISCHE BÖEN nahe 60km/h geben.

Dienstag, 22.12. – Morgen bleibt es den ganzen Tag über bedeckt, immer mal wieder und besonders um Mittag wird es auch regnen. Mit 7 bis 12°C wird es auch am Dienstag deutlich zu warm für den Dezember sein. Der Wind wird leicht bis mäßig sein und aus südwestlichen Richtungen kommen. Früh am Morgen gibt es STURMBÖEN bis 80km/h, am Abend besteht erneut Gefahr vor STÜRMISCHEN BÖEN bis 60km/h.

Mittwoch, 23.12. – Am Mittwochvormittag bleibt es weiterhin stark bewölkt, immer mal wieder kann es auch etwas Regen geben. Am Nachmittag sollte es dann aber trocken bleiben und zum Teil sogar auflockern. Mit 9 bis 11°C bleibt es aber auch am Mittwoch sehr mild. Der Wind wird meist leicht sein und aus südwestlichen Richtungen kommen.

ESC is currently tracking two storm in Europe – YORRICK and ZWI. YORRICK is now moving out of the area that ESC coveres, however has caused blizzard conditions in Northern Scandinavia last night, with gusts reaching 144km/h in Norway.
ZWI is currently moving towards the British Isles, peak gusts of 122km/h have already been registered.
The MILK European Storm Center is currently only tracking storm YORRICK, and storm warnings have been issued for the British Isles and Iceland. Storm watches, however, have been issued for many countries in western and northern Europe. Below is the ESC overview.
Overall, the situation in Europe is very calm currently. MILK ESC is watching two storm systems, which will only affect the far western coasts of Europe. See the ESC overview and warnings for more details.
Severe storm VANECHKA, currently located in the North Sea, has caused gusts near 200km/h in Norway yesterday, and also the UK is experiencing gusts over 150km/h. Below is the ESC overview.
