With gusts up to 400km/h, waves of over 10m and a central pressure of 880hPa, Category 5 major hurrican PATRICIA is currently making landfall in Mexico. Hurricane and tropical storm warnings have been issued. The highest wind gust registered world-wide was 408km/h, in a cyclone in Australia, while the lowest pressure so far (ever!) was 870hPa.
